Marine Drive

Marine Drive is a buzzing waterfront district known for the Marine Walkway, popular for evening strolls, and leafy Subhash Bose Park. The modern Rainbow and Kettuvallam bridges offer backwater views, and cruises leave from jetties by the water. Eravikulam National Park

Eravikulam National Park is a 97 km² national park located along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala in India. Situated between 10º05’N and 10º20′ north, and 77º0′ and 77º10′ east, it is the first national park in Kerala.

Mattuppetty Dam

Mattupetty Dam, near Munnar in Idukki District, is a storage Concrete Gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity. It has been a vital source of power yielding along with other such dams, huge revenue to the states.

The KDHP Tea Museum is an industry and history museum situated in Munnar, a town in the Idukki district of Kerala in South India. Tata Tea Museum is its official name, but it’s also known as Nalluthanni Estate where it is located or Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Tea Museum.

Kundala Lake

Periyar National Park

Periyar National Park, also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephant population, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park’s north, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Farther north, spice plantations surround the town of Kumily.

Day 1

Cochin (Arrival)

Arrive at Cochin Airport, pick up by our chauffeur and transfer to hotel. Check-in at Hotel. Afternoon proceeds for Cochin Sightseeing. Visit the Dutch Palace-built by the Portuguese in 1557 and subsequently renovated by the Dutch after 1663. The murals are perhaps the best in India. Jewish Synagogue - built in 1568 and the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth is at Mattancherry. St. Francis Church - built in 1510 and the oldest European church in India, Chinese Fishing Nets- introduced by the court of Kublai Khan can be seen in Fort Cochin. Fort Cochin Beach etc. Evening back to the hotel and dinner and overnight.

Day-2

Cochin - Munnar (130 kms, 4hrs)

Today After Breakfast transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 Mts above sea level and also the home of South India's highest peak (anamudi-2695 Mts). On the way to Munnar visit Vaplara, Cheeyappara waterfalls, and Tea Plantations. Upon arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check-in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (hermitages Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India. You may visit the Tea Museum surrounded by tea Gardens- the only Museum of its kind; which illustrates the timeworn method of Tea production. The evening has a short visit at Munnar town and returns to hotel take diner. Overnight stay at Munnar

After breakfast proceeds for sightseeing of Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park, etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing in Munnar. Evening dinner in hotel & overnight stay at Munnar

Day-4

Munnar - Thekkady (110 kms, 4 hrs)

Morning has breakfast at resort later check out resort and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar. On arrival check-in, Hotel Afternoon proceeds for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife and the rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner in hotel & night stay.

Day-5

Thekkady - Kovalam (221 kms, 6 hrs)

After Breakfast check out the hotel and transfer Kovalam. Check-in hotel and proceed for local sightseeing, Silhouetted against lush palm groves, the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam are Internationally acclaimed tourist destinations. Besides the three main beaches - Lighthouse beach, Eve's or Howrah beach, and the Ashok Beach, there are many more picturesque beaches all along the coast of the south of Kovalam starting from Vizhinjam up to Poovar and overnight stay & dinner at the hotel.

Kovalam

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum. Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Trivandrum Museum, Zoo, And Veli Tourist Village Overnight stay & dinner at the hotel.    

 
Day-7

Kovalam - Alleppey (171 kms, 4 hrs)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Alleppey check in the hotel and proceed for Local sightseeing. Alappuzha has always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to the attraction of the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating to visitors. overnight stay & dinner at the hotel

Alleppey - Cochin (Tour Ends) (91 kms, 2 hrs)
