Pashupati Nath Temple

Kathmandu
The temple of Lord Shiva is considered one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. Also, it is one of the Biggest and famous Hindu Temple in Nepal. So every year thousands of Hindu pilgrims visit the Temple. The two-tiered pagoda with golden roofs and 4 silver doors houses the sacred Linga of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple existed before 400 AD. It is listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Guhyeshwari Temple

Kathmandu
Temple is one of the revered holy temples in Kathmandu. This temple is dedicated to Adi Shakti. The temple is a Shakti Peetham near the Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River, where a portion of Sati Devi fell when a grief-stricken Shiva wandered aimlessly across the earth carrying her dead body on his shoulders following her self-immolation.

Jal Narayan

Kathmandu
The largest of Vishnu’s stone statues, Jal Narayan lies at the foothills of the Shivapuri hills, 8 km north of the Kathmandu city center. The large granite figure of Lord Vishnu, reclining on a bed of serpents known as ‘Shesh Naga’, seems to float in a pond. This shrine dates back to the 5th century.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, While the complex consists of at least four distinct squares (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square, and Pottery Square), the whole area is informally known as the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and is a highly visited site in the Kathmandu Valley. Major attractions of Bhaktapur Durbar Square are 55 window palace, Golden Gate, Lion’s Gate, Mini Pashupati, Batsala Temple & Statue of Bhupatindra Malla.

Manakamana Temple

The Manakamana Temple is Dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. The name Manakamana originates from two words, “mana” meaning heart, and “kamana” meaning wish. Venerated since the 17th century, it is believed that Goddess Manakamana grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her.

Chitwan National Park

The Chitwan National Park is Asia’s best-preserved conservation area, where wildlife thrives and their habitats remain intact. It is listed under the World Heritage site since 1984. It is home to some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinoceros, and Leopard, Gaurs as well as Sloth Bear, Monkeys and varieties of Deer, etc. It is a truly wildlife adventure of a different kind such as Elephant Safari, visit elephant breeding center, Jungle walk & Boat ride on the Rapti River to observe crocodiles & Tharu cultural show at Chitwan National Park.

Elephant Safari

The national park area of Sauraha is most suitable for elephant rides. Elephant ride is also the safest way to enter the jungle while one can observe wild animals and birds from up close. One can enter the dense forest of Sauraha and view the wildlife from close proximity during the elephant ride. It feels very exciting and novel to move along through the quiet forest listening to the sound of wild birds singing from on top of the elephant’s back. There is also a slogan “Visit Chitwan, Ride Elephant” popularized for the promotion of tourism in Sauraha. Four persons can ride an elephant at one time.

Devi’s Fall

Pokhara
The water forms a tunnel after reaching the bottom. This tunnel is approximately 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. This is one of the most visited places in Nepal. After exiting the tunnel, the water passes through a cave called Gupteshwor Mahadev or “cave beneath the ground”. The Phewa Lake Dam is the water source.

Tal Barahi Temple

Pokhara
Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple is a two-story pagoda temple located in the Pokhara. It is a Hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located on a small island on the southeast section of Phewa Lake. The temple is used for worship by Hindus.

Fewa Lake

One of Nepal’s most beautiful spots, Phewa Tal is surrounded by a combination of monkey-filled forests and high white peaks. The reflections in the mirror-like water in the early mornings are an awesome view.

Sightseeing of Kathmandu

Today after breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The city is considered the gateway to the Nepalese Himalayas and home to several world heritage sites. Visit Pashupati Nath Temple, Guheshwori Temple, Jal Narayan, Swayambhunath Temple, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Overnight stay at Kathmandu hotel.

Kathmandu to Chitwan Via Manakamana

Today after breakfast drive to Chitawan via Manakamana Temple (15 Minutes by cable car- ropeway ride up to Hill). Evening visit to Tharu culture show. Overnight stay at Resort in Chitwan National Park.

One day's activities in Chitwan

Today early morning take an elephant jungle safari into the National Park area, visit the elephant breeding center and have a boating ride on the Rapti River to observe crocodiles. Overnight stay at Resort.
